The system mainly consists of seven major modules, including the X-ray source, imaging unit, computer image processing system, mechanical system, electrical control system, safety protection system, and alarm system. It integrates modern non-destructive testing (NDT), computer software technology, image acquisition and processing technology, mechanical transmission technology, and AI algorithms, covering the four key technical disciplines of optics, mechanics, electronics, and computing. By utilizing the different X-ray absorption characteristics of materials with varying compositions and thicknesses, the system captures images of electronic components inside reel packages and performs automatic component counting. The fully automatic online X-Ray reel counting machine is designed to work with SMT production lines for automatic end-of-line reel inventory counting. It supports 7–15 inch reels and provides automatic loading, automatic inspection, automatic barcode scanning and labeling, and automatic unloading, significantly reducing labor requirements while improving operational efficiency. The online X-Ray reel counting machine can also be integrated with the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) as required, enabling more efficient and reliable reel inventory management while providing enhanced digitalized warehouse management capabilities.
Supports multiple loading and unloading methods, including trolleys, AGVs, and docking with material bins.
